PCB Design Challenge :

· High PCB layout density, small PCB layout area

· BGA pacakge, can't place the components on the PCB bottom side

· USB2.0 interface

· Need to pass the EMC and ESD class B

 

 

TopLayout Solution:

The TopLayout team help to review the system design, and suggest customer to add some decoupling capacitors for the core power because of the decoupling capacitors can't place near the power pin of the BGA. Calculate the important signals' trace width, length and spacing. The EMI/ESD expert was arranged to review the PCB design.

Finally the PCB layout schedule was finished ahead of time, and it was reduced the number of layers within the board, this can help customer to reduce production costs. This project was passed the EMI test and ESD class B test, all important signals quality accord with the customer's requirements.
