1. Q: What do I need to get started with TopLayout and get a quote?

A: Below is a list of information that we would need in order to generate the most accurate quote for your job. Of course, the more accurate the data you supply, the more accurate the quote will be. The bold bullets indicate the most important items needed.

a) Mechanical Drawing of the Board

b) Schematics

c) Net List (optional)

d) Components specification (optional)

e) Preliminary Layout Instructions, SOW with Electrical Constraints (optional)

f) Product Requirements, like Certifications, Standards, etc. (optional)

g) Deliverable Items Required (optional)

h) Schedule Needs (optional)

2.Q: Can you help us to check our design?

Yes, however we do not have any system engineers in the design team. If we find any issues in your system design, we will let you know at once.

3.Q: What if I need to make changes once the design has started?

A: Once your design has started, changes can be made by emailing them to our Project Manager with a new scope of work. This will insure that the changes are implemented, and if need be, re-quoted and/or re-scheduled.

 

4.Q: How to ensure the quality of our design?

A: a)Our project manager is responsible for cooperation through consultation and closer contacts.

b)A strict PCB design procedure. Review by TopLayout experienced team.

c)IPC standard components.

d)TopLayout PCB design technical norms.

5. Q: Can you help us to answer the technical questions from the PCB fabrication manufacturer?

A: Yes, and it's free for the current project.
